Army of Two: The Devil's Cartel Launch Trailer Has Great Balls of Fire

We're fast running out of descriptors for Army of Two: The Devil's Cartel trailers. Explosive? Done it? Boom? No. OTT? Used already. Great balls of fire it is then, because y'know, this launch trailer has balls of fire in it.

It's another typically noisy video from the game that's positioning itself as the 'action blockbuster of video games', with explosions and OTT violence by the barrel-load.

Watch the launch trailer below to see more of Army of Two: The Devil's Cartel in action, and if the barrage of bullets and explosions isn't enough to satisfy your appetite for destruction, you can still download the demo.

Army of Two: The Devil's Cartel is out on March 26th in North America and March 29th in Europe.

  • Played the demo last night and thought it was shit....could see promise but it looked and played very badly and the physics plus animations were truly shocking
  • Enjoyed the demo, & I'm counting down the days til release. The thing that gets me is that it's an EA game, & there is NO tacked-on MP...... But I'm still looking forward to it. Love the Army of Two series. Despite what the "cool kids" say.
  • first time i played the demo i disliked it cause of the controls but now i actually cant wait until I have enough money for this game unfortunately not a day one for me as im broke
  • I'm sorry... I don't know how the game will be since I haven't played it (maybe it will be good)... But how does "Wonderfully Over-the-top" make me want to play it... lol
  • More like Great Balls of FIRED. http://www.gameinformer.com/b/news/archive/2013/02/21/report-army-of-two-developer-suffers-layoffs.aspx
  • No wonder EA is going to some rough time when they put out games like this.
  • @4: You're right, they should have made it duller. That'll sell.
  • @1, 4, 6 - You guys are stupid. This game is actually good. Forget that it's EA. Just put them out of your head. Focus on the game itself, not the shitty publisher. So many people can't wrap their heads around that concept.
  • Demo was decent. Seems like a fun gamefly rental. The rap song sucks though. Watched that video the other day and couldn't finish it.
  • I want to start playing this series.
  • I can't get into this series. I have no problem playing online in every other game but this one. Every single time me and my friend get disconnected every other mission. Quite annoying.
  • I thought the demo was okay. I never played the any of the games in the series before and I'm not swayed to start now. It doesn't look like a bad game, but its nothing special or unique either. Same release day as BiOShock Infinite as well...not a wise choice.
  • @8 - It seemed like #1 was focusing on the game, but just doesn't seem to share your opinion.
  • Goodness gracious
  • This game has the potential to shake our nerves and rattle our brain....
  • The demo was pretty good, I actually want to buy this, but I´m most probably going to wait till it´s discounted, there are even better games coming out.
  • I played the demo and thought it was alright, although I had some problems with moving out of cover quick enough to avoid enemy grenades. It was a fun demo but too short. I have the last two games and like them so I can't wait until this one comes out.
  • Hoping that this comes out a bit more amusing than the second game. First was a full blast and I loved it!
  • @19 do you accept magic beans?
  • @8 what has EA got to do with anything regarding my comment and oppinion on this game? Next time try thinking before you type a stupid comment. I played the demo, i saw potential in what the game could be, but the graphics, piss poor animations and physics coupled with no strategy and thought needed to complete the demo made it shit for me........what exactly again have EA got to do with this?
  • Cant wait day 1 for me.
  • @22 Day one for me too!!! played the demo and it was completely fun!!!
