A new behind scenes trailer for Capcom and Double Helix's upcoming Strider has released today, offering up some interesting info nuggets on how work on the game began, as well as an inside look at the game's development from its beginnings to its impending release next week.

Find out how work on the Devil May Cry Collection led to Double Helix building the "rebirth of Strider Hiryu", to how Design Director Tony Barnes got to realise an ambition in working on his "dream game".

There's also a Strider Retrospective video to view below. That's two new vids for the price of one. Strider will be flipping onto the Xbox Live Arcade for Xbox 360 and onto Xbox One's digital store from February 19th for $14.99/£11.99/€14.99.

  • How about moving that logo when a video has subtitles?
  • Loved Strider in the arcades and on Genesis. 8 Mega Memory! Picking this up for XB1
  • Side note: any reason there isn't an XB1 forum thread for this game?
  • They were all good and playstation game was pretty sick. I hope this one is at least up to par
  • Looks awesome, can't wait to purchase day one and play. I'm not sure how they will do know that Amazon owns them but I hope they are able to continue great work. MS should have bought them out, they did a great job on KI and could have continued that while bringing some new IPs or remaking some for them.
  • common sense for this video would be to move your stupid achievements logo so we can actually read the subtitles so we dont always have to guess
  • Will the x1 version have a trial?
  • @6 ya lets put down the people that work there ass off bringing us this news everyday because an icon that's promotes there page gets on your nerves. Real life problems dude lol. I will for sure be picking this up, I was very very happy with dmc collection and am expecting this to be another great remake. They make it very easy for me to support their work. Plus 1000G on the Xbox one just to hack and slash robots as a shinobi! I mean come on, who would pass that up! And for $15, this is gunna sell tons of copies.
