Publisher Little Orbit has announced they are handling a third Adventure Time title by seasoned developer WayForward, following up on the side-scrolling Hey Ice King! Why'd You Steal Our Garbage?! (a DS exclusive) and the dungeon crawling Explore the Dungeon Because I DON'T KNOW! (which we saw on the 360 last November). This time, they are going with a relatively tame subtitle as they bring us Adventure Time: The Secret of the Nameless Kingdom.

"What time is it? It's time for an all-new Adventure Time video game! Little Orbit, alongside Cartoon Network Enterprises, announce the third installment in the mathematical Adventure Time video game franchise. Adventure Time: The Secret of the Nameless Kingdom is slated to launch in November 2014 and will be developed by veteran game studio WayForward, which created the franchise's first two titles. The game will introduce a classic top-down action adventure experience and puzzle-solving element to the franchise, reminiscent of early high fantasy console games."

In other words, it's a Zelda clone. Adventure Time: The Secret of the Nameless Kingdom is expected this November on Xbox 360 and PS3.

  • Let's just hope this one turns out better than the last. Otherwise this is good news.
  • Exploring a region instead of dungeons, i'm game. They could've ported Hey Ice King! to the XBLA and i'd have been satisfied. Explore The Dungeon was fun, but it's 'Arcade syndrome' - Playing through the same gaunlets just with different skins on the environments and the enemies...
  • Anything is better than the previous one released.
  • Had a look at Adventure Time and it looks fun.
  • dont give a shit. top-down camera must die
  • I don't know if I can bring myself to play another Adventure Time game after what I went through with the last game...
  • I loved "Hey Ice King", even though it was short..."Explore the Dungeon" was pretty garbage...
  • Explore the Dungeon is one of my most regretted purchases. I don't know if I'll ever finish it...
  • I'm so sick of seeing these ads.... OT: the dungeon explorer looked terrible from the screens, I've been waiting for a decent adventure time game
