Watch Dogs is available to download via the Xbox Games Store this week for both Xbox 360 and Xbox One, while on the Xbox Live Arcade, you'll be able to grab eerie horror title Slender: The Arrival, which looks pant-wettingly scary. You'll also find a couple of new add-ons and some alien deals too.

There's a new Slash Song Pack for Rocksmith 2014, Minecraft's Halo mash-up and State of Decay's Lifeline DLC, which promises even more apocalyptic zombie survival shenanigans. On Xbox One, meanwhile, we're playing catch up as a new Sadira Vampire costume and all the new Powerstar Golf gubbins pop up on the store, following the pitching and putting title's change to a free-to-play model.

New this week to Xbox One is a Watch Dogs digital trip called 'Conspiracy!', adding a new mission to the game should the plethora of missions already on the disc not be enough to satisfy your open-world hacking desires. And remember you have only a few days left to grab Saints Row: The Third for free before June's games take over Games With Gold.

  • I really don't think Alien: CM is going to be selling any more copies, even at $10.
  • Wasn't episode 4 of Wolf Among Us supposed to come out this week?
  • Yes about time for the Slenderman game to come out :)
  • Slender: The Arrival is out tomorrow!!?? D:
  • When does games with gold start for xbox one? June 1st?
  • WatchDogs on XboxOne is £59.99 and not £49.99
  • I just want a dead rising 3 season pass sale. I need to free up hard drive space...
  • Guess I'll try out Slender, never did try it out on PC. I just bought Colonial Marines at EB Games last week in their 2 for 20 deal with Fuse. But I did want to try Lost Planet 3 and Star Trek, looks like it's the week of games that scored bad but some people like them week.
  • I thought Lost Planet 3 was going offline this week!
  • £5 for Star Trek? Bwahahahaha! They should be paying us to play it. Most glitched game I ever played!
  • Wheres the Saints Row 2 DLC sale fuckers.
  • Watch Dogs is supposed to be £50??
  • @5 Yes June 1st.
  • I read the 49.99£ and took it for $ at first glance. Then I realized and rain on my own parade.
  • Should probably pick up lost planet 3. Never even knew it existed
  • Watch Dog's and Slender in the same week? God, heaven does exist!
  • Aaaand Watch Dogs is $99.45 here in Australia for download. The exact reason why I am now downloading games. The local store has it for $88 on disc on release and usually drop their prices into the $65-75 range reasonably quickly. I would prefer to download it, but you're killing me MS or whoever prices the games. I would be paying more for less!!!
  • *Not downloading games. (Not 'now')
  • EDF2025 is cheaper via Microsoft than Amazon?! Hell just froze over!
  • @2 Indeed, I'm expecting another Wolf among us
  • Just to confirm, Episode 4 of The Wolf Among Us is available from today (the 28th) also :)
  • Come from work and Wolf Among Us Ep. 4 achievements aren't up, and Slender is MIA. Get your shit together, MS.
  • @22: I agree. That's one sour thing about digital downloads. If I wanted a physical copy of Watch Dogs I would know that Walmart opens at 7 AM in my town and EB opens at 9 AM. So if I want the game, those are the times I'm looking at for picking it up. Digital downloads are a whole other story. The game can show up overnight. It can show up just after you get out of bed. 7, 8, 9 AM. Now it's noon and you're wondering what the fuck is going on. Digital is great, but in the times that leave you wanting, there's no structure. It's just a free-for-all of constantly searching "Slender" for example, and hoping it'll actually show up sometime today.
  • Slender the arrival is still not available on marketplace in the UK
  • Isn't Slender decidedly average anyways? Just going on the Metacritic score which I know can be a bit misleading to say the least but it only averages 60 something on there.
  • @22 Metacritic has it around 65 out of 100. Praise comes in form of atmosphere and the soundtrack, where most negative comments are based on lack of length and repetitive gameplay. It's a horror game where you run around and collect pages. More a small interactive story. If it gets put up ever, should get a trial too. I'd say test those waters first at least.
  • I played Slender briefly on the laptop last year but PC gaming isn't really my thing so I let it go. Then they announced it for dedicated consoles so I figured I'd pick it up for Xbox and give it another try. It's just hard to do that when there's no sign of it nearly 13 hours into the game's release date.
  • Do we know what the games with Gold for June will be yet?
  • WTF MS... It's 4:30... Where the hell is Slender?
  • slender is probably coming out on friday. it seems rare for them to release two xbla games on the same day anymore. one is usually on weds one is usually on fri.
  • #28 they were announced a while back, Charlie Murder, Dark Souls and Street Fighter 56 for XBOX 360. Halo Spartan Ops and Jamie and the Magic Torch for XBONE
  • On Slender this is what was up on their Facebook page yesterday -- "Hey folks, just wanted to provide a quick update about the release date since I can see that a lot of you have been asking about that. We're still working hard on the game; about to submit to Microsoft and Sony for certification. That process may take a month or even longer - we can't know for sure. As soon as we have a launch date we'll let you all know. Thanks for being patient, we're getting there! - Alex"
