Working as an Application Developer, 100% quality is in the job description. Its not something that has to be "the most important thing", simply because it is expected. If I were to release a project to end users as broken as as most games are today when they launch I would probably lose my job. Its that simple. Releasing a quality, fully functioning product should be the only acceptable result.Thursday, July 03, 2014 @ 06:59 PM
"One of the Most Important Things For Us is to Launch an Awesome, Stable Game on Day One" How many lies do i see in this one sentence?Thursday, July 03, 2014 @ 07:24 PM
"Destruction too will have more impact on gameplay". Levolution is still a gimmick #1 Most Games at release are more beta then a full price game. Bf4 should of been priced alot cheaper considering how rushed it was.Thursday, July 03, 2014 @ 07:50 PM
To bad no one wants this game.Thursday, July 03, 2014 @ 07:54 PM
Too little too late. I've been duped by too many Battlefield launches, as in, ALL of them. Fuck that noise.Thursday, July 03, 2014 @ 08:05 PM
I think people should give Hardline a chance, Visceral has been constantly working with the community to get it working right. Give this company a chance because DICE is only their for support, but they are not making the game. It is like blaming Infinity Ward for BlackOps or Treyarch for Modern Warfare. They had nothing to do with BF4.Thursday, July 03, 2014 @ 08:12 PM
Yep I look forward to Hardline! I also enjoy BF4. I didn't get it until a few months after launch waiting on an X1 so I didn't see the launch issues, but the game played fine for me. I wonder how many BF4 haters only played the game 2 weeks and just fussed about it the whole time after that?Thursday, July 03, 2014 @ 08:31 PM
#9 U got it months after and ur assuming people that got it earlier are "just fussed about it" It was rushed, broken and they even admitted it. #8 I have nothing again visceral, the beta ran well with no probelms for me. It just feels like a reskin thats all and im sure alot of gamers agree with that. Has battlepacks just like Bf4 (which i hated!). EA is the problemThursday, July 03, 2014 @ 08:40 PM
@4 Marie dont fuck aboutThursday, July 03, 2014 @ 09:42 PM
Believe it when I see it.Thursday, July 03, 2014 @ 10:19 PM
I think that BF Hardline is just a remapped BF4 with all the patched stuff incl. And I really dont get the theme of this game. i.e. A bank gets robbed and all hell breaks lose and they destroy the whole city? With checkpoints?Thursday, July 03, 2014 @ 10:52 PM
You know what would be nice... Bad Company 3. This cops and robbers does not equate to Battlefield in any respect. I'll definitely be passing on this Battlefield. This will be a first too... :(Thursday, July 03, 2014 @ 11:13 PM
Hardline has a full single player game made from the people who made Dead Space. There is more to it than multiplayer and if the MP is featured enough, it sounds like a full game to me.Thursday, July 03, 2014 @ 11:35 PM
#15 Battlefield isnt really bought for the singleplayer (unless it Bad company).Thursday, July 03, 2014 @ 11:39 PM
should stick to multiplayer, get some extra maps/contentFriday, July 04, 2014 @ 12:09 AM
Fuck this battlefield 4 texture pack garbage, because thats all this is. Theres nothing worth 60 dollars hereFriday, July 04, 2014 @ 03:42 AM
Don't care what they say. Never buying battlefield game at launch again bf4 at launch was just broken as hell. Even now it still has problems and annoying things hell the Damn game still won't save my loadoutsFriday, July 04, 2014 @ 04:23 AM
I like how everyone is saying "you" when this is Visceral Games, not DICE. If Visceral delivers a buggy game, then you can call them on that. But if the game is from a different developer, then why attribute the mistakes of one to another?Friday, July 04, 2014 @ 05:43 AM
1 - This should of just been called Hardline, putting battlfield in the tittle is going to loose sales, becuase of BF4 - 2 - EA is all i need to say, they rush everything they only care for moneyFriday, July 04, 2014 @ 10:39 AM
I dont get why people are saying Battlefield: Hardline is a reskined BF4 ... BF4 was a reskined BF3 ffs! At least BF3 worked!Wednesday, July 16, 2014 @ 06:40 AM
BF3 awesome but BF4 was really really bad... ):Saturday, July 19, 2014 @ 05:36 PM
This game looks garbage. I've been a fan since bad company 2 although arguably it went downhill after BF3, looks like there's gonna be a continuing trend. Cops and robbers? what were they thinkingMonday, February 02, 2015 @ 06:15 PM
Hell Yeah!!! Delicious Donuts spotted.

Battlefield is dispensing with a numbered instalment this year, instead choosing to deliver its take on cops and robbers, pitting criminal cartels against a well-armed police force in a bout of urban warfare. So, out go the tanks and jet fighters, and in comes an increased focus on fast cars, motorcycles, attack choppers, armoured transport vehicles and attack trucks.
"It's still a Battlefield game," Lead Multiplayer Designer, Thaddeus Sasser assures, however, telling us that the core 'rock, paper, scissors' dynamic of the series and its vehicles is still very much a part of the overall experience in Battlefield Hardline. Levolution returns too, but with more "gameplay changing moments".
Promising a greater emphasis on story, with its episodic narrative inspired by TV cop shows, and Visceral Games focusing on delivering a stable game experience from day one, all of the right noises are being made regarding Battlefield Hardline. Destruction too will have more impact on gameplay and we can expect some surprises too.
