First GRID, then Force Unleashed and now Vigilante 8... what a day for DLC! Unfortunately (from a point whore standpoint) this is the only one that does not offer new achievements. But, for hardcore V8 fans, here's what you can get for 320MSP:

"Rev up with 3 new crazy cars and 2 never-before-seen arenas in this groovy pack! Grab the Strider buggy (Sheila), Towmaster tow truck (Houston), and the Groundhog 6-wheel armored car (Loki), each with its own ultra cool special weapon. You also get a tricked-out Stunt Track arena and an explosive miniature Garage environment – both fine-tuned for some high octane multiplayer action!"

  • nice game addition
  • Need to get this game sometime, like these kind of games.
  • Are these completely new items or are they from the N64 or Playstation version of the game?
  • this was one of those games where i loved playing this back in the day, got really excited when it was announced for the XBLA, downloaded the trial, played it for a bit, and then deleted it off the hard drive. i guess the nostalgia factor wore off quickly on this one but nevertheless this is a nice addition at a decent price as well!
  • Sweet and not so bad a price
  • I really want to pick this game up. Loved it back in the PSX era.
  • eh. give us real xbla gamez
  • This game is garbage IMO. Don't make the same mistake that I did. Try the demo before you buy it.
  • I think this game was big fun when I played the demo against my friend. Alone this can be only average though.
  • Was hell better on PSX
  • This Download isn't appearing at Xbox.com and I get an error message when trying to download with Xbox 360...
  • it's a XBLA game without achievements? isn't that odd? but for the price, if you like it, it's not a bad deal nonetheless
  • Real games plz
  • Lmao I actually laughed @ 13 Nice yeah I agree Also some free DLC somewhere would be nice =]
  • Eh, no thanks. There's virtually no online community for this game which makes it almost pointless because the fun really isn't with the single player.
  • I tried the demo but the car I could play as handled very poorly. Plus, if #15 is right and nobody's online, there's really no point since the AI in these types of games isn't hard to dominate. The real fun is always playing against real people.
  • It sounds like an old TV when I let go the accelerator or the brakes of these contents.
  • The new arenas are kinda broken. Firstly, the Stunt Track's floor is completely invisible. Secondly, I fell through the garage arena's floor most of the time.
  • Looks like they ned to patch it already. I thought Ms had quality control. I must have been wrong. I played Demo and it seemed ok but not as good as original and not as good as sonys Twisted Metal games.
  • The game doesn't quite feel as good as 2nd Offense was on the Dreamcast, yet I still find myself playing the game quite a bit in between other retail games. Not sure if I'll get this new content, but at least it's cheap.
  • This game is so great! Good additionnal content, but unfortunately no new achivements. :(
