Very cool. I'll be purchasing this one.Monday, February 02, 2015 @ 04:33 PM
Looks pretty cool/interesting I wonder how much it will cost.Monday, February 02, 2015 @ 04:42 PM
At first I was like, meh. But by the end I was hyped.Monday, February 02, 2015 @ 04:49 PM
Count me in. Love the art style, and being a ghost/horror story, its right up my street.Monday, February 02, 2015 @ 04:50 PM
Looks great, day one for me.Monday, February 02, 2015 @ 05:01 PM
if only eden games patched alone in the dark on 360 and pc, still gonna give the new devs a chance though. let's hope that if the game has game breaking bugs and glitches at launch, that they get patched immediately. fingers crossed for that not happening so that it shows the game is good from the starting gates.Monday, February 02, 2015 @ 05:02 PM
One the one hand, the visual style is great to look at and seems interesting. On the other hand, it's made by people who worked on Alone in the Dark.... I think I'll wait for reviews...Monday, February 02, 2015 @ 06:22 PM
@12 I think most people just didn't like that it strayed so far away from the other Alone in the Dark games, and turned itself into a sub-par Action/Horror game.Monday, February 02, 2015 @ 07:58 PM
March GWG?Monday, February 02, 2015 @ 09:20 PM
#14 you might be on to something. Volgarr had a similar "out of the blue" announcement. I wouldn't be surprised if this was indeed GWG for March.Monday, February 02, 2015 @ 10:25 PM
Wow, this sounds amazing. Love the art style and will be getting this day 1.Monday, February 02, 2015 @ 10:29 PM
#16 no it won't be. Indie games for gwg were a) out the first of the month and b) at the time not on ps platforms.Monday, February 02, 2015 @ 10:30 PM
The game was revealed for Xbox One in June 2014 at E3. The only new announcement in the article is the release date.Monday, February 02, 2015 @ 11:24 PM
Hard to believe that this style could seem scary.Tuesday, February 03, 2015 @ 07:17 AM
The style was interesting at first and then after a couple of minutes wore off. I don't think I could enjoy playing it because it would bug the shit out of my eyes.Tuesday, February 03, 2015 @ 09:59 AM
@12 For me it was the control scheme. The opening scene sucked me right in and I was raring to go. Than I had to actually control the main character doing more than walk down a hall. I don't think I even finished chapter 2.Tuesday, February 03, 2015 @ 01:14 PM
@1: Unfortunately someone will see this game and yell racism. Whether its Jesse Jackson, Al not-so-Sharpton, Obama, or some dumb celebrity. Just for reference, these same people think the song "White Christmas" is racist.Tuesday, February 03, 2015 @ 01:15 PM
On topic, the game does look pretty neat.

Staff from former Alone in the Dark developer, Eden Games, have come together to form OSome Studio, an indie outfit whose first game has been revealed as White Night, a "noir horror" presented entirely in monochrome. Set for release on Xbox One, PS4 and PC in March, the game is set in 1930s Boston, within the confines of a deserted mansion.
Described as "an old-school survival horror adventure", White Night not only has a striking black and white visual style, but also promises "mature storytelling, strong characters, compelling environments, and equal respect for tension and terror," according to OSome's Co-Founder and Creative Director, Ronan Coiffec. "White Night is a good old ghost story full of mystery, poetry, alchemy, and suspense," he says on the PS Blog.
White Night will be making its way to Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC for digital download on March 4th, 2015. Check out the gameplay trailer and a handful of screenshots below.
