A new trailer for Sierra and Rock Pocket Games' quirky puzzle platformer, Shiftlings, has been released today, showcasing some gameplay from the game ahead of its launch for Xbox One, PS4 and PC in spring 2015.

In Shiftlings, you'll assume control of two dim-witted alien janitors in an intergalactic reality show, completing complex challenges. The pair are connected by a single air hose that allows them to pass back and forth between their space suits. One character can expand in size and weight, enabling you to solve objectives and reach new areas.

Playable solo and in local or online co-op, Shiftlings will feature over 50 levels across five worlds when it launches for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC in spring 2015. Check out the trailer below for the lowdown on Rock Pocket's indie puzzler.

  • Read that as Shitlings -_-
  • @1 Same. They may want to rethink the name lol.
  • reminds me a little of Knuckles' Chaotix on the 32x
  • Well, looks too fancy to be a Games with Gold title, this will definitely be sold on the marketplace, and we shall be getting Lemmings 3D HD for our next GWG game...
  • #4 wow that was funny.......
  • Interesting, I'll keep an eye out for this.
  • The game looks to have potential, but the narration on that trailer was awful.
  • I played this last year at a Norwegian videogame convention and i have to say it looks a lot better now then when i saw it last november. It's nice to see Norwegian studios putting out some games every once in a while.
  • while i appreciate the id@xbox thing, i think its taken a bit of priority, it is nice to see something different for a change, as so far we seem to have 2d retro 8 bit pixelated games shoved down our throat.. personally if this were to be a GwG i wouldnt mind it as it is a different formula.. volgar, super time force, the god awful idarb, chariot, while not are all bad games, they all to me personally and the people i play with all just feel meh, because its nothing new now, it once was novel now its just the same ol stuff churned out to the point nobody cares... i personally wont buy this game but if it does come free then yeh il be happy to give it a shot, ID games do not have to follow the same trend theres plenty of indie games out there that have broke the mold and been better than some retail releases.
  • Best ID@Xbox game I've played was Stick it to the Man. Bit short, but great fun. This does look like a bit of fun. Will keep an eye out for this.
