It’s kind of impossible to talk about Ori and the Blind Forest without first mentioning that art style. Every screenshot, every frame of video, every glimpse of the game reveals it to be utterly gorgeous. So let’s take that as a given. Ori and the Blind Forest is a good looking game. The real question is, is it any good from a gameplay standpoint?
Let’s not try and build any false tension here: yes. Ori and the Blind Forest is really, really good. Not just a pretty face, Moon Studios’ puzzle platformer has got so many great ideas crammed into one game it’s almost rude. I loved it. But what score did I give it and why do I love it so much?
