SEGA and Pokémon developer Game Freak have announced that Tembo the Badass Elephant launches later this month for Xbox One, PS4 and PC as a digitally downloadable game. A 2D side-scrolling platform action adventure, spread across 18 levels, the game has a "unique art style" and "tongue-in-cheek" humour that "encapsulates classic console mascot games", according to SEGA.
“We don’t think there’s a single game out there with a better name and hope that consumers will stampede the digital marketplaces in order to get their hands on this mammoth adventure!” said SEGA Europe's Commercial Publishing VP John Clark.
Tembo the Badass Elephant will be stomping onto Xbox One, PS4 and PC on 21st July 2015 for £9.99/$14.99/€12.99 with a 10% launch discount for PlayStation Plus subscribers and Xbox Live Gold members. Watch the announcement trailer again below if you haven't already.
