Zero fucks.Monday, July 20, 2015 @ 05:31 PM
Not bad, 1 years EA access is currently about 7-8 full games also. Wish 1TB was standard from day one, or sorry about day 120 thats when I got mine, lolMonday, July 20, 2015 @ 05:46 PM
1TB HDD? More like 755GB.Monday, July 20, 2015 @ 05:57 PM
I know kinect is dead but they should at least pretend to care and offer a kinect version. If they skinned the consoles with NFL logos and custom team consoles people would def buy it.Monday, July 20, 2015 @ 06:19 PM
"Xbox One Madden NFL 16 Bundle Announced".... FUMBLEE!! "and a one-year subscription to EA Access"... Ohh, nice recovery. They try put on some fancy moves, but get sacked in the end zone. Madden..? Of all the games to make a bundle from, this is what they choose?Monday, July 20, 2015 @ 06:30 PM
@4, @7, I really doubt this will be the only bundle. I'm sure there will be others.Monday, July 20, 2015 @ 07:24 PM
@8 But at the same time, THIS is the first bundle that has a 1 TB hard drive? For the demographic that might play a video game once a week?Monday, July 20, 2015 @ 07:39 PM
"The Xbox One bundle you’ve been waiting for is here." The bundle that I'm waiting for is the one where you can choose your color/skin of Xbox that has a 2TB hard drive standard and your choice of free game (ANY free game $60 MSRP or less), the new Elite Controller in the box, AND at least 3 months of Xbox Live for $400. If Microsoft would do something like this [(best controller on the market + access to the best online environment + game + customization of console + enough space to TRULY be a good start in the digital age (and to go along with those 6 free games that you would get from the 3 months of Xbox live AND the upcoming backwards compatibility)] then they could absolutely crush Sony and end this stupid little console war. Is that this bundle? (NOTE TO FLAMERS AND TROLLS: I have owned Xbox One from Day 1 and continually buy Xbox Live... I'm just stating that this bundle is ridiculously lame considering the headline...)Monday, July 20, 2015 @ 08:10 PM
@4 Outdated business model? Since when is making shit bundles that stupid consumers will buy an outdated business model. It costs next to nothing to come up with the idea and it's just another way to milk more money. I bought a 500GB console day one and it sucks because it's always full. They wait 1.5 years before we ever see an upgrade to 1TB. Then maybe in a year or two we see 2TB "bundles" that come with some other hot new game. It makes them way more money that if they decided to ship these things day one with bigger harddrives. Seems like a pretty good business model to me.Monday, July 20, 2015 @ 08:15 PM
@9 My advanced warfare xbox has a TB harddrive. There may have even been more bundles with a TBMonday, July 20, 2015 @ 08:17 PM
@11 The AW bundle was a terabyte and came out less than a year after the xbox one was released IIRCMonday, July 20, 2015 @ 08:51 PM
@2 and yet you still feel the need to click on the article and comment.Monday, July 20, 2015 @ 09:44 PM
And i got my xbox 1 bundle too early. I should have gotten this instead of my Xbox 1 master cheif bundle plus 12 months of live and a free game.Monday, July 20, 2015 @ 09:48 PM
Most poeple here on this site may not care for Madden but It is a potential system seller and its a great value bundle.Monday, July 20, 2015 @ 09:57 PM
Last year when i was in line for the midnight sale of madden 15... there were multiple people in line for the madden 15 xbox one bundle. One guy was there to TRADE IN HIS PS4 for a madden xbox one bundle. This does sell... This may not cater to you, but this DOES sell. Also, you people complain about the hard drive size to much. I got a 2tb passport hard drive long ago for under $100 and it is never full. problem solved. Plus i can take THAT wherever i go and play my games IMMEDIATELY at a friends house without having to re-download them (stupid 40gig+ downloads) onto his console. Its an xbox one that fits in my pocket.Monday, July 20, 2015 @ 10:19 PM
@10, It'll be good for this war to end once and for all, at some point in the future. But I think that you'll have to go to a parallel universe to see that. :-DMonday, July 20, 2015 @ 10:38 PM
@17 Bingo! Kovenant hit the nail on the head. Luckily, USB 3.0 1TB+ HDD are pretty darn cheap. Amazon regularly has deals. I got mine for £55 two years ago, and when my Day One console became full I then had 200% more space! People complain too much about the HDD size. Everything Microsoft does, people find something else to complain about. If you want a console that's built specifically for your needs, build a PC.Monday, July 20, 2015 @ 11:57 PM
Why do people like #9 make a blanket statement like he did about this being the first 1TB bundle? I also bought an Xbox One bundle that has a 1TB hard drive (the CoD:AW console). My brother bought one of those 1TB bundles that included Halo:MCC... so that would be "TWO" 1TB bundles released so far. I'd like to say that #9 is an idiot, but that wouldn't be nice... and there's no need to state what other's can determine themselves! ;-)Tuesday, July 21, 2015 @ 12:49 AM
@10 - How can they commercially offer that? Mass produce one of every type of colour/skinned Xbox One, with different hard drive sizes for each, and different accessories for each? Give over.Tuesday, July 21, 2015 @ 05:14 AM
Why do they make bundles like this? Apart from the uniqueness of 1Tb over the standard 500gb and the Ea access nonsense, what is really unique here? You could just buy the game easily and separately along with a good external harddrive of your own. It would be more noteworthy if Microsoft created skins for the bundles at least.Tuesday, July 21, 2015 @ 08:24 AM
@17 & @19 Exactly this! Why wait/buy a 1tb xbox one when you can get a 2/3tb external hard drive dirt cheap nowadays and just plug that into your xbox one and then you won't have any space problems for a long time. I bought a 2tb hard drive before Xmas and it's nowhere near full upTuesday, July 21, 2015 @ 09:15 AM
This argument is pointless. External people will never convince internal people to get a USB add on. We want the 1TB (or more) inside (which should have been standard from the get-go.) An external HDD is just another thing to keep track of. The console war topic is also pointless. Games are games, they should be played and enjoyed whether they're on the One, PS4, Wii U or PC. OT Madden and the 1TB can only help push sales. I'm sure a few families out there will be looking to buy the One at Christmas, and football types would probably love to have a free game to play.Tuesday, July 21, 2015 @ 10:01 AM
@ #5, 1TB HDD? More like 755GB. Really?! WTF that is bad. I understand about the OS/partition etc but almost 250gb?? Seriously...

Microsoft has announced that an Xbox One Madden NFL 16 bundle is coming to the US this summer. "The Xbox One bundle you’ve been waiting for is here," apparently.
Available from August 25th, the bundle comes with a 1TB HDD Xbox One, a download code for Madden NFL 16 and a one-year subscription to EA Access - which allows members to access a vault of older EA titles, offers discounts on new games and trials of upcoming games.
“And don’t forget, Xbox One is the official game console of the NFL, so you can enjoy the NFL experience with the NFL on Xbox One App, and the ability to watch games right from your console,” adds the blurb, dutifully.
