Previously pencilled in for an April launch on consoles, 505 Games and developer Kunos Simulazioni have today announced that racing sim Assetto Corsa has been delayed and will now see the chequered flag in June.
The additional development time will apparently ensure that "the console release delivers the most polished experience for simulation racing fans," says Kuno Simulazioni, with the game emphasising a focus on "pure physics realism" and laser-measured tracks.
Assetto Corsa on consoles will feature 90 high-performance cars such as the Team Lotus 98T, the Pagani Zonda R, the Ferrari LaFerrari, the Mercedes C9 and the McLaren 650S GT3, as well as 27 track configs including Silverstone Circuit, Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps, Autodromo Nazionale Monza, and Nürburgring-Nordschleife.
You'll be able to get behind the wheel of Assetto Corsa when it launches for Xbox One and PS4 on 3rd June in Europe and 7th June 2016 in North America. Check out our gameplay video below. Vroooooom!
