Wales Interactive has announced that its first-person sci-fi puzzle adventure Soul Axiom will be coming to Xbox One and PlayStation 4 in June, with the Xbox version to feature exclusive bonus content, including a new chapter with three unique levels and a digital copy of a 82-page art book with character, environment and storyboard designs.

Set in the "haunting" cyber-world of Elysia, Soul Axiom includes unique hand powers you'll use for solving puzzles and manipulating your environment, as you unlock the path forward in the game's dramatic adventure that spans over 20-30 hours of gameplay, with 100 puzzles and 40 distinct locations to explore.

With multiple endings and loads of collectibles, Soul Axiom will see you exploring the vast server of Elysia where "memories and dreams become reality". Check out the launch trailer below for a closer look at Soul Axiom, ahead of its launch on Xbox One on 8th June for $19.99/£15.99/€19.99.

  • A "SciFi puzzle game"... that reminded me Portal 2...and how much I want a Portal 3 :( What exactly are they guys at Valve doing these days?
  • @1 Very little in terms of their own games, at least that they've spoken of. The Lab was the last thing they released it think, some kind of Portal based VR game.
  • a few scenes reminded me of the scarecrow scene in the Arkham games, game seemed to have a nice haunting theme
  • I like the look of this. If I'm getting Overwatch fatigue in a couple weeks this might be a nice respite.
  • Doesn't look bad for $20.
  • @1 I firmly believe Valve will never develop another game. They just make so much money with Steam they have no need, it's sad but true.
  • Yep, that ones for me. Moments reminded me of Child of Eden (and Rez to a lesser extent). A remaster of Child of Eden with this generation of Kinect is something I could really get behind.
  • Why do 90% of games released on Xbox One belong in the "Arcade" section of the old marketplace?
  • Load of collectibles?! Deep joy! Hate collectibles and having to follow a walkthrough/video always ruins the game for me.
