Ever Wanted A Deathclaw As A Pet? This New Fallout 4 Mod Is For You

Fallout 4 mods are getting better and better the longer the game is out, but we've just seen one of our favourites: The Beastmaster mod - the mod that lets you capture a Deathclaw and keep it as a pet.

The Beast Master mod lets you tame animals and beasts that have been caught with Wasteland Workshop cages. This includes every animal in the game... except the most dangerous animal of them all (man).

The animals get their own unique mechanics - a happiness gauge (ever play the early Digimon games?), the ability to be loaded up with saddlebags, the option to paint them and so on. You can basically make them totally your own.

If your pet gets too annoyed, they'll fight you. Bear that in mind if you do decide on taking a Deathclaw out and about with you!

The in-depth description of the mod (as well as links to it, for PC players) can be found here.

PS4 mods for Fallout 4 have been postponed indefinitely until Bethesda has sorted it all out behind-the-scenes, and Xbox One users can download them now via the Game Management section of the game.

  • I find it odd that a site based around achievements is promoting something that disables all achievements for an entire playthrough. I can understand announcing mods when it was updated, but... I dunno.
  • @1 Because the only thing you have to do is turn them off and reload the unmodded save to start getting achievements again? It's not like once you use a mod that's it forever, I turned off my mods for 30 minutes to get the Contraptions Achievements and then went back to my modded save.
  • @ #1 Because this ISN'T just a website for achievements. Heck, I don't even use this site for achievements that much.
  • I like most of the work you guys do, but i gotta ask, why is this news worthy? This mod has been available and top rated for absolutely ages. If it was a mod that was new, it would need to add a lot more depth to the game than this, to be worth writing about on here.
  • Boring News
  • If you just want achievements and know mods disable them... why the hell did you even bother clicking. I found it interesting, I didnt know
  • If I download this I will use it on a cat. Fear the cat...
  • @#2- Because everyone starts using mods late into a game, right? These aren't cheat codes. People don't go through most of the game and then use a few. Many people, especially now are going to start a game using many of the better mods. @#3- Yea. XboxAchievements.org isn't just about xbox achievements, but I gotta say, for a site that has guides, trackers, and leaderboards for achievements, I find it odd that they would promote a random mod that disables them. @#6- Why the hell would I bother clicking? To post what I did.
