Seriously? You can find this game in every f****** Walmart trash bin for 15$ on Xbox 360. Why would anyone buy this game full price on Xbox One? Knowing how of a disaster was this game? Agree. I still have the copy I bought 6 years ago. When first reading the headline I got excited for X and X-2 remasters to come, but this is just more of what Xbox 360 already has. This is bogus. I need someone to draw me a picture of what the legal barriers are to bringing any pre-FF13 titles to Xbox One. Maybe Sony has some stake in it but Square Enix said they were acting independently now, but it sure as hell doesn't feel like it. sorry you cant grasp it but they start the fights all the time, FF 7 is by far the most over rated game of all time, largely due to the fanboys spouting nonsense all the time, FF 6 fanboys are not far behind them either. both games a great but not a single FF is perfect, in fact they all have flaws, but people get blinded by their love of each one refuse to acknowledge this. FF 13 has major flaws, leader died? game over, despeite having characters with LIFE spells. need gil? farm an annoying enemy that MIGHT drop an item you can SELL rather than giving you money instead. enemy uses status ailements? well, you CAN raise your defense to a certain point but only by sacrificing other better accessories and NEVER getting total immunitty, especially to death (see first rant) see that? i listed bad things from my favorite FF game, there a more, but i did what the FF 7 and 6 fanboys are not capable of, admiting the flaws. anyone who claims any game is perfect is an idiot and needs some help to admit the flaws, then i will not call them idiots, that is my problem, people making claims based on oppinion, they are idiots for doing so, oppinion is not fact.Wednesday, July 13, 2016 @ 07:36 PM
I'm in the actualyl I really enjoyed ff13 camp, thought all three were solid games and enjoyed lightning as a character think she one of the best square have created, saying that dunno how interested I am in playing it again, less so with ff15 just around the corner. Interesting news. I know a lot of people don't like this game or this mini series (FF13) but I liked it. Sure the grind was a bit much in the end game but I did not have that much of a problem with the rest. Having said that I'm not sure if I would get through the grinding again. @34 It’s an opinion that most people have. 13 is generally considered to be the worst main entry in Final Fantasy in some time, and 13-2 and Lightning Returns were generally seen, for the most part, as unnecessary and even worse (especially Lightning Returns). It’s similar to how most people consider Final Fantasy 7 to be the best entry in the franchise. That’s not saying that it is the best, but generally speaking most people share that opinion. I just don't understand how people can be happy when they re-release last gen games? Why did we buy an Xbox One? Those game don't need to be remastered yet, those game don't need a reboot yet. Game companies are laughing at all of you who re-buy last gen games. You are encouraging this bad marketing. We advanced to the next generation of consoles for new content, new games; Not for old already-existing games!? Why would anyone be happy for a re-release of FF XIII? Of ANY 360 titles? @39 / 42 - Considering you're attempting to drive home the fact that everything is a matter of opinion with such vigor, I'd say the spelling of the word "opinion" is a touch important, yeah. While I am of the mindset that Final Fantasy VII is overrated (I prefer VI, Tactics, and XII), there is absolutely no denying how ground breaking and innovative it was at the time of its release. For most, it was their first entry to the franchise that they hold so dearly, so there's a lot of nostalgia that comes with the game. For me, VIII was my first entry, so I personally have a lot of attachment and nostalgia for that game, despite the fact that most people tend to rag on it because of the Junction system. Additionally, it was one of the first 3D games on the market. It was a huge victory for Sony when Square jumped ship from Nintendo, and a lot of people ended up buying a PlayStation just for Final Fantasy VII. Just look at the reaction footage from the Final Fantasy VII Remake announcement - people lost their minds. While I'm sure XIII was someone's first Final Fantasy, it just doesn't have that same impact, and it was substantially more linear and convoluted than people would have liked.Friday, July 15, 2016 @ 01:46 AM

Ok, so f*** the rest of all Final Fantasy? They dob't deserve a remaster for people who missed them? If people missed FF13, it is because they were not interested in playing it. If they really want to play it, they can move their lazy ass to Walmart and grab one of the thousand unsold copies all across the world. Following your logic, I just finished Dark Souls 3 and I am a huge fan, I want a remaster of Dark Souls 3 right away with Dark Souls 1 and 2 Bundled in it! Oh and what about a remaster of my favourite games such as Destiny? Halo 4 and 5 are getting old... Time for a remaster. You should not be encouraging laziness from game companies. They are already preying on us too much. We want imagination and innovation. They should also stop milking their game series to death. I would be a lot happier to play Halo 6 in 6 years then next year. If they can't do it this way, they should just stop milking Masterchief. Same goes for a lot of game.

Update: We've learned that back in April, a cloud-streaming partnership with Ubitus was announced for mainland China that would allow users to stream games to their Xbox One. Final Fantasy XIII was the first game to be coming to the service, so this could be the first evidence of that going into beta soon. What is unclear is if it will be a new version of FF13 designed for Xbox One, or simply the existing Xbox 360 version. We'll of course bring any official news as we obtain it. [via Neogaf]
Original Article: It appears that Final Fantasy XIII could be making its debut on Xbox One, if a leaked listing spotted on Xbox.com by XBA's Pants Party proves to be accurate. There's further evidence in this Xbox.com link here too.
As there has yet to be an official announcement regarding the release of Final Fantasy XIII on Xbox One, we don't know whether the game will be a complete remaster, a spruced up version, or a simple port, but it appears that it could be on the cards for release ahead of Final Fantasy XV this September.
At least, that would make sense. Final Fantasy XV is set for launch on 30th September, so perhaps Square Enix could be planning to release Final Fantasy XIII in the coming months before the new game comes out. We'll keep our eyes peeled for an official announcement, but in the meantime, here's the box art for you to admire.
