They need to be more focused on the fact that the pre-load is out for digital, but nobody has the capability of downloading.Monday, November 14, 2016 @ 02:52 PM
I cant even download the game. Just bought it and it only downloaded the 2 dlcs. WTF???Monday, November 14, 2016 @ 03:15 PM
After the last one, why would anyone pre-order this? If you didn't see this coming then you have to be blind. Ubi at it's finest.Monday, November 14, 2016 @ 03:22 PM
@3 The last one was an enjoyable departure from the annual releases of Call of Duty and Battlefield. I know it's shocking to think that some people enjoy new IPs...Monday, November 14, 2016 @ 03:25 PM
@4 Unless they're new IPs that the dev lied through their teeth about, and is nothing like what was promised (ex. Watch Dogs, Destiny, No Man's Sky).Monday, November 14, 2016 @ 03:40 PM
@4 I played the last one. But I held off until all the issues were sorted. Even then it was mediocre at best. My point is look at the last one. You were lied to and the game was missing so much. After that, how can you have faith in them enough to put your hard earned cash down in advance?Monday, November 14, 2016 @ 03:44 PM
What would be much more shocking is if a modern game actually launched fully working.Monday, November 14, 2016 @ 03:49 PM
@7 Dishonored 2 seems to be fully working. At least, it is on the xbone.Monday, November 14, 2016 @ 04:06 PM
Indeed. Cant even download it : (((Monday, November 14, 2016 @ 04:27 PM
Ubisoft back at it again lolMonday, November 14, 2016 @ 04:33 PM
lo and behold another ubisoft game fucked up at launch, im gonna wait a while before picking it up thats for sure. guaranteed something else will mess up with the patch.Monday, November 14, 2016 @ 04:34 PM
@8 Dishonored works, the fps could be better thoughMonday, November 14, 2016 @ 04:56 PM
Any surprise this game has issues on release? I'm surprised they felt a sequel was necessary. Perhaps this is the final nail in the coffin then. Will definitely wait for a price drop, free would be better.Monday, November 14, 2016 @ 05:00 PM
@8 after a day 1 gig update you mean! Ubisoft have fallen so far from great its unreal, and they wonder why not as many people pre-order and buy stuff day 1 anymore! Hey ubisoft stop announcing over priced season passes months and months before you're games release and make them work day 1 until then I'm none of my money is coming your way. God knows what will happen if they fuck up the south park releases!Monday, November 14, 2016 @ 05:07 PM
People are reporting that if you do a hard reset that you'll be able to get the download now.Monday, November 14, 2016 @ 05:30 PM
Did this site also get hacked I can't access it through an iPad because of that full screen ad for cod, every time I change page up it pops for 30 secs and you can't close it down. It's also started crashing my iPad and I'm getting to the stage where I can't be arsed with the hassle of trying to access this site.Monday, November 14, 2016 @ 05:34 PM
#16 I come back on a daily basis hoping that the fucking abomination of an advert is gone but alas no, so I spend less and less time here than I would like toMonday, November 14, 2016 @ 05:43 PM
I can confirm that after console reset it shows up in ready to install. 30GBs.Monday, November 14, 2016 @ 06:30 PM
I'd urge anyone to buy dishonored 2 over this it's fantastic, I'll probably give this a chance eventually but the first one was such a let downMonday, November 14, 2016 @ 06:37 PM
@16 - Leave it with me. I'll get to the bottom of it. @17 - On iPad as well? Or elsewhere?Monday, November 14, 2016 @ 06:37 PM
@16 It's an ongoing issue with this site. I only ever access this site if I can run adblock. Otherwise the site is totally unusable.Monday, November 14, 2016 @ 06:42 PM
Playing Dishonored 2 nowMonday, November 14, 2016 @ 07:08 PM
@14 Like I said on a different article, a day 1 uodate is absolutely fine. You have to wait maybe an extra hour, as opposed to it releasing broken, and waiting a week or two for an update (looking at you, Evolve). And if you buy it on disc, it downloads the update while installing the game.Monday, November 14, 2016 @ 07:20 PM
@pants I only access the site through my iPad, the advert also resets after I gave you a thumbs up!Monday, November 14, 2016 @ 07:42 PM
Another Ubisoft game with problems. Hmmm, they will learn one day never...Monday, November 14, 2016 @ 08:17 PM
No more than 2 minutes after my original post, Gamefly shipped me Watch Dogs 2...lolMonday, November 14, 2016 @ 08:18 PM
@4 There are more games than just Battlefield and CoD! You act as if Watch Dogs was the only other option. That month alone there were nearly a dozen Xbox game releases, none of which where BF or CoD... Also Watch Dogs was anything but enjoyable, it was trash, plain and simple.Monday, November 14, 2016 @ 08:48 PM
Will happily be playing at midnightMonday, November 14, 2016 @ 09:48 PM
Everyone needs to boycott this. This garbage of shipping broken games that do not even play, then making everyone wait for a patch needs to end. I was never buying this anyways. The first one was garbage, and there are tons of other great games out right now to enjoy instead.Monday, November 14, 2016 @ 11:19 PM
16 & 17, ad blockTuesday, November 15, 2016 @ 11:35 AM
@27 Maybe to you it was trash, but shockingly different people have different opinions. The original wasn't as good as the stupid hype built it up to be, but it was still a game I enjoyed and quite happily pre-ordered the second, which after playing for a few hours seems to be a substantial improvement over the original.Tuesday, November 15, 2016 @ 03:30 PM
@27 Way to actually read my comment. I never said there weren't other releases, did I? I said some people actually liked this game and your statement that the game is trash is an opinion. Also, a majority of the games that came out the same month as this, were guess what? Sequels or games in pre-existing franchises so your point is kind of moot

Watch Dogs 2 will launch tomorrow, but the game is suffering from a pretty major issue: the seamless online multiplayer isn't working.
We mentioned that in passing in our review, but it's more of a problem for consumers if the game isn't fully up to scratch once they take it home. During some of our time with the game, being connected online dragged the game down to 10fps and caused huge performance issues. It should be noted that once we took the game offline and disabled any attempt to connect, it worked flawlessly.
To that end, Ubisoft has released a statement addressing the state of the game and when we can expect the online portion to be fixed:
So, to clarify - co-op missions do work if you invite a friend to play with you... but co-op sessions or PvP instances with random players pulled in from elsewhere online don't work. Whilst there are a lot of opportunities to play online, it's not a vital part of the game and you can complete the story entirely in single-player.
Watch Dogs 2 is out tomorrow and the patch should be with the game soon.
