Microsoft has revealed the latest selection of Xbox Live Games with Gold coming this December, with two more Xbox One titles to add to your library and another two backward compatible Xbox 360 games to boot.

The first is Sleeping Dogs: Definitive Edition, United Front's open-world crime saga set in Hong Kong. You play as undercover cop Wei Shen, infiltrating the Triads to bring them down from within. The Definitive Edition includes upgraded visuals and all of the additional DLC released for the game.

First-person survival horror Outlast will then follow later in the month for Xbox One, while on Xbox 360, you'll be able to check out Ubisoft's acclaimed 2D adventure, Outland. And finally, Burnout Paradise will also be going backward compatible on Xbox One, so you'll be able to revisit the eponymous Paradise City for races and Road Rage.

Check out December's Games with Gold here:

  • Finally a decent month! Thanks!
  • That feeling when all the games in your back-log, show up as free >__>
  • Rented Sleeping Dogs and already own Outlast but both are fantastic games that I fully recommend. I guess I'll download Sleeping Dogs to own a digital copy. Excited to see Burnout Paradise!
  • Didn't we already get Sleeping Dogs for free on 360 last year?
  • #4 yeah, most remastered games will end up being GWG for the One as well, I'd wager. You can count on Saints Row 4 and the Metro games at some point, for sure. Either way, awesome month. Never could bring myself to pull the trigger on Outlast but now I can't say no. Really excited to play Outland as well!
  • Awesome list. Never got a chance to play Sleeping Dogs and Burnout Paradise. Now is the time!
  • @6 hadn't Metro 2033 already been on GWG? I could be wrong.
  • I didn't know Burnout was BC, awesome.
  • @8 No, but the Metro Bundle is on sale for $6. Awesome price for two great games.
  • Are the burnout servers even still active? Any opinions on outlast? Is it as hard a completion as its made out to be?
  • I can't remember the last time they gave away two 360 games I didn't already own. This will be the first time in months.
  • Time to sell sleeping dogs and burnout
  • Outlast? Seriously? I just brought the damn bundle in the halloween sale 2 weeks ago..
  • Although now that I think about it, this isn't coming with the Whistleblower DLC I assume like GwG games tend to have a habit of. Least I only got the bundle for £5 at the time.
  • I knew outlast will be gwg this month! The fact that this game magically appeared on my region store gave me a clue. Since its launch this game was not available in India. Well here we have. Nice selection of games
  • BurnoUT paradise outlast and sleeping dogs yep looking good
  • @14, Same here!!
  • No complaints from me for Dec
  • I was planning to buy sleeping dogs denfinitive edition, loved it on the 360, such a good game.
  • Very good month indeed.
  • One of those months I own none. I have 360 sleeping dogs and that's it. And a decent selection at that. Cheers ms. much appreciated
  • All awesome games. Sadly I own every one of them. Nice to get digital copies of BO and SD though.
  • Disappointing month for me. Already have Sleeping Dogs, and hate horror games.
  • #8 the Metro games were GWG for the 360 at some point in the last year. I was just saying, if the trend continues, we'll get both Metro games and Saints Row 4 for GWG for the One as well, seeing as how they were free on the 360 in the past. I was going to pull the trigger on SR 4 for the One since its only $5 for Black Friday but now no way, I know it'll be free at some point.
  • """"""""free""""""""
  • Take me down to the paradise city Where the grass is green and the girls are pretty!! The Best Burnout game ever
  • Nothing says Christmas like naked crazy people.
  • I beaten the original Sleeping Dogs never was able to play the DLC's though wouldn't mind replaying this one loved it so much... and I know what to expect from Outlast thanks to Markiplier playing it...this little piggy go home go home...
  • Finished Sleeping dogs about a month ago on the 360, glad to be getting this, worth another playthrough and the dlc is included which i never got for the xbox 1. Its pretty obvious if a game has a remaster on the X1, and it was free on the 360, its likely to happen on the x1. That and sequels so not in any hurry to buy any Assassins creed games, dead rising 3 etc
  • #26 no need for qutations. yes they are free. XBL has been the same price since 2006 and we NEVER got free games included. Ever since they added GWG it has still remained the same amount. I could see if the price jumped up $10-$20 (like Sony did...) then you'd have a point.
  • I've wanted Sleeping Dogs but never been a sale price for the digital copy that I was willing to bite on. Glad to finally play it.
  • Good month. I own 3 of them & have Outlast on PS4, but hey, extra achievements are always good.
  • " A man who neva eat pork bun...is neva a whole man "
  • @34 ya that made me laugh every time I heard it
  • Bloody hell, I own all of these. Oh well
  • Good. a month where I don't own any of these. Nice turn around from this month. had 'em all except dungeon bros
  • I own three of these either on XBL or PSN, and it will likely be years before I whittle by backlog down enough to want to play a horror game, but it's a good month. Good titles.
  • Please oh please gaming gods let this mean Whistleblower will be on sale by itself at some point!
  • @27 Apparently... you've never played "Burnout 3: Takedown" before. It's considered the best Burnout game in the series (so far)! If you have an Xbox 360, you can play it on that console (one of the few original Xbox games made BC for it). @31 You are flat-out WRONG about the price of Xbox Live (12-month) Gold Membership. It was $49.99 until November 1, 2010... when it was raised to $59.99! I don't know where you got your facts, but you need to check them!!!
  • Ok and GWG was added in 2013, three years after the increase. Big fucking deal, my point still stands.
  • No complaints here. The only thing is that I unlocked 1-2 achievements with Sleeping Dogs (360) so now poses the question of do I want to get back into that before stacking Sleeping Dogs on the X1, or do I just say screw it and leave the 360 version as is to start the X1 version.
