Chilled Mouse has announced that its musical puzzle game Chime Sharp will be winging its way to Xbox One later this month, taking the concept of the original Chime - first released for the Xbox 360 back in February 2010 - to "the next level".

Like the original Chime, Chime Sharp is a mash-up of Tetris, a music sequencer and a "hypnotic dream," featuring 16 new levels, experimental modes, "new-era connectivity" and an ambient soundtrack featuring the likes of Chvrches, Steve Reich, Chipzel and Kavinsky.

“With Chime Sharp the core rules are the same, featuring the same mesmerising, hypnotic electronic soundtrack with songs from some of the most experimental trailblazing artists out there”, said Chilled Mouse CEO, Ian Baverstock. “With a clean, sleek new aesthetic and new experimental modes, Chime has returned and this time it wants to become your favourite mixtape”.

Check out the trailer below for a closer look at Chime Sharp, due to release for Xbox One on 24th February 2017.
