Bethesda has revealed that Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus will be receiving a Season Pass, unlike the previous game, adding a series of new chapters to the game under the title of 'The Freedom Chronicles'. Each of these episodes will feature a different lead character all fighting the Nazi threat on American soil.

The Freedom Chronicles run parallel to BJ Blazkowicz's own fight across the US, placing you in the role of a former pro American footballer, an ex-OSS agent and assassin, and an Army captain, all battling to restore freedom to the USA under the tyranny of Nazi rule. Episode Zero will also be available as a pre-order bonus incentive, and will also be included with the Season Pass too.

  • The Adventures of Gunslinger Joe – As former professional quarterback Joseph Stallion, smash through Nazi hordes from the ruins of Chicago to the vastness of space!
  • The Diaries of Agent Silent Death – As ex-OSS agent and assassin Jessica Valiant, infiltrate Nazi bunkers in California and discover the secrets of Operation San Andreas!
  • The Amazing Deeds of Captain Wilkins – As the US Army’s renowned hero Captain Gerald Wilkins, embark on a mission to Nazi-controlled Alaska to dismantle Operation Black Sun!

You'll be able to get all three DLC episodes with The Freedom Chronicles Season Pass, available for purchase now for $24.99/£17.99/AUS$34.95. Each episode will be released at as yet unspecified dates post-launch, following the release of Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus on 27th October 2017. Check out our latest gameplay video here.

  • and now i'ts wolfenstein's turn... season passes, season passes everywhere...
  • Lets hope their is decent quality in the season pass unlike the former fallout 4.
  • 3 months before release and they dare to show the season pass? Bethesda truly has gone to shit
  • Single player content. Will happily wait for a price drop
  • This is great news. Keeps new Wolfenstein content arriving throughout 2018. I checked the official site about Operation Zero. Operation Zero is a SP DLC. It is a fourth DLC separate from the 3 in the Season Pass. You get it for pre-ordering the game, or by buying the Season Pass. It is a prequel to the Season Pass and introduces you to the 3 new playable characters. Their later adventures are the 3 expansion packs that must take place after they go their separate ways. Operation Zero is basically free. If you enjoy it, you can get the Season Pass to play further missions with the 3 new people. Also, on August 22, a Wolfenstein double pack launches with Wolfenstein New Order and Wolfenstein The Old Blood combined. It seems unnecessary for anyone who owns both, but is a great deal for anyone who needs them still.
  • Maybe we can see the Veil again with Operation Black Sun. Operation San Andreas sounds interesting also.
  • @5 - So I guess they aren't going with any multiplayer like with TNO and TOB. Great news! Always up for SP DLC!
  • No trace of multiplayer, which now seems confirmed. This will make the campaign twice as large. Gamestop and Amazon have updated to show the Operation Zero pre-order bonus. I think it is small, since it is listed as one mission. It seems you can play as all 3 in it though, to see how they are different. The Season Pass expansion packs should be much larger. Plus, since they all seem to have locations that are not in the main game, we get to see Chicago, California and Alaska in the world of Wolfenstein USA, making the game universe larger.
  • *Vader voice* NOOOOOOOOOOOOO...... You disappoint me Bethesda. I'll wait till it's half price
