Hi-Rez Studios has announced that Hand of the Gods: Smite Tactics will be coming to Xbox One and PlayStation 4 along with announcing that players can now sign up to join a closed alpha test for the game.

Hand of the Gods lets you build a deck tied to one of six mythological pantheons full of Gods, spells, and beasts. Each pantheon is led by a unique leader, ranging from the battle-tested Odin, Norse All-Father, to Ah Puch, Mayan God of Horrific Decay. Your units will fight on a chess-style game board, where you can draw your cards and outmanoeuvre your foes.

Hand of the Gods: Smite Tactics will be coming soon to Xbox One and PlayStation 4 and sign ups to play the closed alpha is already live for players. You can check out the announcement trailer below.

  • I dont mind this type of game. From the trailer it reminds me a bit of MtG: Battle grounds back on Xbox OG. Had a lot of fun with that game, one of the only Xbox og games I still own today actually. Might sign up for the alpha to give it go. Any word on if it will be a free to play title like the current Smite game is?
