Bandai Namco has revealed a crossover between Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 and Dragon Ball FighterZ that will see special items unlocked for players who own both games. The nature of this content has yet to be revealed, but Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 will be getting the new Hero Colosseum game mode for free this autumn.

Hero Colosseum will boast its very own story mode with a tactical figurine battle, and will be joined by new Extra Pack 1 and Extra Pack 2 paid DLCs. The former will include Tapion, Android 13 and two more new characters, while the latter will add a "new original character", a new scenario and "a new way to interact with Dragon Ball characters" in Xenoverse 2. Extra Pack 2 will also include "an all new form of Goku", to boot.

Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 is out now for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch and PC, while Dragon Ball FighterZ will be available for Xbox One, PS4 and PC on 26th January 2018, with crossover content for owners of both games.
