Mirror's Edge on Xbox One X Looks Bloody Great - Video

I think we've established by now that the Xbox One X is a serious bit of hardware. It's turning already decent looking games like Assassin's Creed Origins into a 4K wonderland and making such classics as Fallout 3, Oblivion and Halo 3 look like HD remakes without so much as breaking a sweat - or even lifting a bloody finger! - it's turning a few heads, that's for sure. Heck, it can even make an unpatched version of The Witcher 3 run in 60fps. C'est la magic!

What it's doing with backwards compatible Xbox 360 titles is truly what impresses us most, in truth - we know it's a powerful machine, so 4K gaming didn't really shock us, but the back compat stuff, without so much as a HD patch, the fact the machine can just natively make old games a hell of a lot shinier, well, even the biggest cynic out there must admit that's pretty damn cool. Come on, admit it!

Last week we gave you looks at Fallout 3, Oblivion and Halo, let us now turn our attention to the original Mirror's Edge (and tomorrow, Assassin's Creed), 2 of the 7 Xbox 360 games that have been given the Xbox One X Enhanced love. Take a look at Faith's debut adventure below and how it compares to the new Enhanced version. It's pretty impressive stuff.

  • I really can't tell the difference. In some instances, the One S looks better. Maybe it's the resolution of my screen. In which case, these videos are useless.
