Team17 has announced that Raging Justice, its scrolling beat 'em up developed by indie outfit MakinGames, will be coming this May, with a third playable character also revealed. Joining Nikki Rage and Rick Justice on the streets of Big Smoke City will be "street-smart" kid Ashley King, packing a "backpack full of whoop ass", apparently.
A 15-year old growing up in Big Smoke's inner city, Ash lived in fear of gang violence, prompting him to learn to fight using movies as an inspiration. Consequently, he has a range of lethal moves including a signature Crane Kick finisher, presumably picked up from the Karate Kid films.
In effect, Ashley is basically like Streets of Rage 2's Skate. Young, speedy and down with the kids, albeit without the roller blades. Check out Ashley King in the reveal trailer below, then look out for Raging Justice when it launches for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch and PC on 8th May 2018.
