Bungie has announced its plans for Destiny 2's next wave of content and updates, with the game's second expansion, titled Warmind, due to launch this May. This will also kickstart Season Three and the arrival of update 1.2.0, which includes seasonal Crucible Rankings, Private Matches, an increase to vault space, and more.
As for Warmind, this will "send you to new places to meet new heroes and battle new enemies," according to Bungie, and will feature new loot and new activities to master. A full reveal is set for 24th April and all Crucible maps being created for Warmind will be released into matchmaking, in a bid to keep the multiplayer community unified. Raid Prestige changes are also on the cards, including Raid Lairs.
Once Warmind and the Season Three 1.2.0 update roll out for Destiny 2 on 8th May, Season Four will be getting underway in September, a year after launch. This will see more updates coming to Destiny 2, adding stuff like Gear Collections, Records, Weapon Slot Changes and Weapon Randomisation. You can find out more over on Bungie.net.
