Koji Igarashi has announced Bloodstained: Curse of the Moon at BitSummit 2018. This title is the "retro spinoff" game promised during the Bloodstained: Ritual of the NIght Kickstarter campaign, and will be presented in the classic 8-Bit style. Best of all, it's coming this month.
Bloodstained: Curse of the Moon will feature four playable characters available to hot-swap on demand (once recruited), each with unique attacks and exploration abilities to access shortcuts. There will also be multiple endings and two difficulties: a "Casual" mode that will be more forgiving and a "Veteran" mode remiscent of the older Igavanias.
