Vampyr and Life is Strange developer Dontnod Entertainment has announced Twin Mirror, a story-driven mystery being published by Bandai Namco. Playing as regular guy, Sam, you'll need to get the bottom of strange happenings in his hometown of Basswood, in what sounds a little bit Twin Peaks-esque.
But Basswood is no longer home for Sam, as he awakens in a motel with no memory of the previous night, with only an "ominously bloody shirt" to go on as a clue in his quest to uncover the truth. What follows is an investigative adventure, in which you'll have to unravel a mystery in the smalltown.
Using the power of 33-year old Sam's mind, you'll be able to dive into his painful memories and set about "personally and uniquely" shaping the investigation by making a series "gut-wrenchingly impactful" decisions along the way. With each choice you make, you'll come a step closer to unvovering the truth and Sam's place in the world.
Twin Mirror will be coming to Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC in 2019. Give the announcement trailer a watch below to find out more about Sam's surreal, mysterious journey.
