It seems that Square Enix has jumped the gun (although it now looks like the listing has been quickly removed) and announced that NieR: Automata is coming to Xbox One later this month, with the 'Become As Gods Edition' that is a digital only release with a variety of bonus DLC.
Platinum Games and Yoko Taro's action RPG launched for PlayStation 4 in 2017, winning plaudits for its action-packed combat, mash up of genres and multi-layered narrative centred around androids 2B and 9S. The Become as Gods Edition will bundle the base game with the 3C3C1D119440927 DLC expansion (worth $13.99), the Grimoire Weiss Pod, Retro Red Pod skin, Retro Grey Pod skin, Cardboard Pod skin and the Machine Lifeform Mask accessory.
NieR: Automata Become As Gods Edition launches for Xbox One on 26th June 2018 for the princely sum of $49.99. you can probably expect an official announcement soon.
