The real question is... What kind of quality are we looking at with those? I mean you can pick up a good pair of NVG'S at any sports store for a reasonable price. And remember people they're worth nothing, but sentimental value. You will never get anything on your return. Look at what happened to the price on the Halo 3 Legendary Edition. I went into gamestop a couple months after the release and the manager of the store offered me to buy their whole stock of Legendary Editions for a hugely discounted price just to get rid of them. I'll be honest...it just looks like IW and Treyarch have been trying to compete for the bigger Special Edition...first there was the COD4 Ltd Edt in the standard cardboard box...then WaW came with its fairly bigger Ltd Edt that came with its canteen...now MW2 comes with a huge looking Ltd Edt with Night Freakin' Vision! Figure it this way... Military grade night visions goggles cost about $200-$300. These are not military grade so about $150-$160. Considering that the "hardened edition" is $79.99 at gamestop right now... I wouldn't be surprised to see the prestige edition go for $150 - $160. I really can't see them thinking people will spend $200 on this edition but who really knows. The night vision goggles look like those "cheap" pieces of crap that you can get at your local toys ~R~ us. Infinity Ward have been busy it seems and have come up with possibly the coolest special edition I have ever seen. I mean come on, it comes with night vision goggles!! Yes, night vision goggles.
The prestige edition will include an exclusive art book, Call of Duty classic arcade game, and a fully working set of night vision goggles with a custom Soap McTavish sculptured head. No price yet, but who the hell cares ... night vision baby!!
