Ubisoft has revealed during its latest financial call with investors that it is planning to launch three or four AAA games in the next fiscal year, which starts in April.

Unfortunately, the publisher didn't go into further details about what these games just might be. However, we can already rule out that one of them won't be an Assassin's Creed title as Ubisoft has already confirmed that there won't be one coming out this year.

On top of that, we can also assume that one of the upcoming AAA games is Skull and Bones, which Ubisoft revealed back at E3 2017. The upcoming pirate sailing game has been given a vague 2019 release window, so it's likely that we can expect that title to hit consoles sometime later this year.

Barring those two games, it's a little up in the air about what the other games coming out in the next fiscal year could be, but we'll likely learn more come E3 2019.

  • My money is on one of them being Watch Dogs 3 released by the end of the year.
  • Splinter Cell? That’s a possible. Or any Tom Clancy related game, there’s normally one in there.
  • I want Far Cry Instincts 2 with Jack Carver voiced by Stephen Dorf.
  • i herd a wile ago Ubisoft was working on the Avatar sequel video game adaptation. could be the second out of three.
  • @1 Watchdogs 3 would be nice, though I'm still disappointed we haven't seen X support for 2 yet. And they really should revamp the hacking. Jumping from camera to camera is not hacking, or hold-x-to-hack. I mean how do you design a hacking game? WD didn't really go beyond the basic concept of player A hacking object B. They just replaced the concept by a button press, which is super lame.
  • "We can already rule out that one of them won't be an Assassin's Creed title". Double negatives can be tricky, so let me help you. You've basically stated that one of them will be an Assassin's Creed title.
  • Give us a new Splinter Cell already!!! I mean come on its been 6yrs.
  • Yeah but its Ubisoft, so expect all 4 of those games to get delayed by a year.
  • They’ll be Skull and Bones, Trials Rising, either a new Splinter Cell or Watch Dogs 3 & The Division 2.
  • Division 2, pirate game, watch dogs 3 and a dance game. Be way too optimistic to except splinter cell
  • @9 @10 The Division 2 comes out next month so it can't be that.
  • Yeh we know what 3 of these games are so only 1 surprise in the bunch. Unless they mean 4 unannounced games
  • Get out your wallets for those cellphone plan like season passes.
  • @13 Good thing no one is getting forced to buy them.
  • @13 cause you need the season pass for Ubisoft games lately lol stfu plz Ubi made all there games lately with free updates season pass literally give you early access to content other than that it doesn't do anything and isn't mandatory unlike trash games like Destiny and CoD gg scrun gg
  • I figure Watch Dogs 3 will be the fall release. Of course there will also be Just Dance. I don't see Far Cry 6 happening until 2021. The next AC is probably 2020, though they could break from the fall release schedule & put that out in March. Splinter Cell will happen I think, especially with the teases in Wildlands & New Dawn, but I don't see that until late 2020/early 2021 from what has been said. Steep 2 could be a good bet for the next year. I also wouldn't be surprised to see a Switch game from Ubisoft. Maybe Rabbids vs Nintendo, which could include characters from Zelda, Kirby, Star Fox, etc.
  • Beyond good and evil 2 will be one I reckon.
