2K has unveiled the NBA 2K20 MyCareer mode, which as ever, will be a star-studded affair featuring big-name actors like Idris Elba and Rosario Dawson. Thomas Middleditch from Silicon Valley will also have a part to play as will Ghostbusters star Ernie Hudson, alongside NBA stars like LeBron James and cover athlete Anthony Davis.

Produced by LeBron James and Maverick Carter's award-winning production company SpringHill Entertainment, NBA 2K20's MyCareer - titled 'When The Lights Are Brightest' - will revolve around the fortunes of main character Che, a fledgling NBA prospect who seeks "gold" on and off the court.

Dealing with off-court pressures and "current social issues", Che will also come to rely on his mentors in an "authentic and emotive story" directed by up-and-comer Sheldon Candis. According to NBA 2K Global Marketing VP Alfie Brody, "an entire film made entirely of video game scenes has never been done in this way before."

You'll be able to delve into 'When The Lights Are Brightest' in NBA 2K20's MyCareer when the game launches for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC on 6th September 2019. Check out the new MyCareer trailer below.
