Publisher The Private Division has announced that Ancestors: The Humankind Odyssey will arrive on Xbox One and PS4 in December, with a brand new console trailer dropping today as well.
Ancestors: The Humankind Odyssey is being developed by Panache Digital Games, founded by Assassin’s Creed creator Patrice Désilets, who also recently apologised for towers becoming such a big thing in games. The game is set in Africa ten million years ago in mankind’s earliest days, and you play as a young hominid trying to rejoin his clan.
Players will have to navigate the dangerous world around them, with tigers, cliffs and deadly food all out to kill you. Your character will explore and evolve as they learn more about the world around them.
Ancestors: The Humankind Odyssey arrives on Xbox One and PlayStation 4 on 6th December 2019.
