Microsoft and 343 Industries have announced during last night's X019 event that the upscsaled version of Halo Reach coming to Halo: The Master Chief Collection will finally arrive on the 3rd of December.
Featuring improvements and refreshments including 4K textures to take advantage of the Xbox One X, Halo Reach will also see a bunch of tweaks made to the main collection. From today, all purchases of Halo: The Master Chief Collection via standard purchase or Xbox Game Pass will include Halo Reach on the day of its release, as well as the entire Halo 3: ODST campaign which was previously only available as a premium add on.
The multiplayer components of the Halo Reach package, which includes PvP, Forge and Theater mode, will be made available as a free update to all existing Halo: The Master Chief Collection owners, while the campaign and Firefight modes will require a $9.99 purchase available in the in-game menu and via the Microsoft Store.
