Not a great deal is currently known about Elden Ring, the upcoming RPG from Dark Souls creators From Software and Game of Thrones author George R.R. Martin, but that may be set to change in the near future.

As spotted by senior video game analyst Daniel Ahmad and posted to his Twitter account this week, it seems the game will be making an appearance at the Taipei Game Show taking place between the 6th and 9th of February, according to a listing on the Tawainese PlayStation website.

According to Mr Ahmad's translation, the game will not be playable on the show floor, and will only be present in video form - given the last we saw of the game was its reveal at E3, it's expected though that it'll be a new video rather than a rehash of the earlier reveal trailer, though it's possible it may just be a Chinese dub of that one. We don't have too long to wait to find out.

What we do know about Elden Ring so far is that the gameplay will be "heavily based on Dark Souls" and will be coming to Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC at a to-be-confirmed release date.
