Developer crea-ture Studios has announced that it hopes to finally have an early access version of upcoming skateboard sim Session brought to Xbox One by this Spring.
The game was succesfully crowdfunded back in 2017 with an Xbox Game Preview version originally earmarked for October 2019, but was delayed for an indefinite period as that date rolled around. Now, the studio has announced that it is working with fellow indie developer iLLOGIKA to co-develop the Xbox One version of the game and, all being well, should finally see a release into Xbox Game Preview in 'Spring 2020'.
Touted as a spiritual successor to EA's Skate franchise, the game is just about to recieve a substantial update on the PC early access build with a revamped control system that should presumably be making its way to the Xbox One version that will allow players to pick it up and play a little easier, though still wants to maintain a "one stick one foot" method to replicate real skateboarding.
All being well this time around, Session will release into Xbox Game Preview this Spring.
Because we’re asked to be more transparent and fill you in on what is going on with console development we are dropping radio silence to tell you some exciting news about the timeline now being SOLIDIFIED and why, doubled the team and tripled the focus!
