XBA Review: Bleeding Edge

Richard Walker

Something of a departure for Ninja Theory - the studio that's made its name as the purveyor of fine single-player, narrative-driven games - Bleeding Edge is a fast-paced, melee-focused multiplayer title. Available for Xbox One (via Xbox Game Pass, to boot), it looks like a fairly interesting proposition.

Despite being a budget title and developed by a relatively small team at Ninja Theory (no doubt the bulk of the team is hard at work on Hellblade II), does Bleeding Edge have the legs to provide long-term multiplayer thrills? Or is it a flash in the pan that will send you back to CoD, Overwatch, or whatever?
