Developer inXile Entertainment has released a new Wasteland 3 developer diary, focussing on another core aspect of the upcoming game.
In the video inXile's Brian Fargo and Nathan Long talk about how choice and consequence work in the game, and how Wasteland 3 will react to the decisions you make as a player over the course of the game.
"I think this is probably the most nested, edge case reactivity of any of the Wasteland series that we've done," Fargo explains. The two also go into detail on one example of a small choice in the, in which you have the opportunity to obtain a good weapon, but only if you take out two friendly NPCs. According to Fargo, most players won't go don't this violent route, but it is there as a choice.
You can check out the full dev diary down below. Previous instalments went into detail on character customisation and the world, stories and characters in the game.
Wasteland 3 releases on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC on 28th August 2020.
