Not content with simply releasing Fast & Furious: Crossroads this August, Bandai Namco and Slightly Mad Studios have announced that Project CARS 3 will be coming this summer, delivering another instalment in the racing sim series, with what sounds like a deeper career mode.

"Get ready for Your Ultimate Driver Journey,' the blurb for the Project CARS 3 announcement trailer reads. "Own, upgrade and customise hundreds of elite-brand road and race cars. Personalise your racing hero persona. And then race your way up from weekend warrior to racing legend in stunning global locations."

Being able to create your own 'racing hero persona' as well as a garage comprising hundreds of cars suggests that Project CARS 3 will be focusing more on the game's career mode, and with Codemasters acquiring Slightly Mad last year, you can bet that both racing studios will be pooling their resources for this one.

Project CARS 3 will be racing to Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC in summer 2020. Check out the announcement trailer below.
