As expected, the controls are awful. If you can get used to them or better yet, change them, the game might be playable.

Session: Skateboarding Sim is due to nosegrind its way to Xbox Game Preview next week, and if seven days seems like far too long to wait, then you can download a free trial right now. This and Skater XL are about as close as we're likely to get to a Skate 4, so should be worth trying out.
A "work in progress" version of Session, the Game Preview release will offer a chance to get a proper look at the game before it reaches its final, finished guise, promising "creativity and freedom of expression" via the medium of a skateboard.
"Pure, raw skateboarding," the description reads. "Forget about hand holding or turbo timers, just go tame that concrete!" Session: Skateboarding Sim comes to Xbox Game Preview for Xbox One on 17th June, while the free trial is available to download now.
