Turn 10 has showcased the first in-engine footage of Forza Motorsport, the series' debut on Xbox Series X, dropping the numbered suffix for the first time.
It's not Forza Motorsport 8, then, (although for all intents and purposes, it basically is), suggesting a soft reboot of sorts. That said, it looks like business as usual, for the most part, with shiny, remarkably detailed cars, and hugely impressive visual fidelity across the board.
"Automotive entertainment is reimagined for a new generation," the trailer blurb reads, hinting at a possible fresh start for Forza Motorsport, when the game hits Xbox Series X and Xbox Game Pass. Check out the official trailer below.
