Warface: Breakout has today received the new 'Underground' update, introducing season two for the tactical shooter with free additions including a new map, seasonal rewards, various new mechanics, quality-of-life improvements like 60fps support, and the promise of crossplay to be added at a later date.

The free Underground update adds the new 'Slum District' map, taking players to murky, war-torn city streets tailored to accommodate a range of combat styles, with zones that encourage mid and long-range engagements, alongside sniper vantage poiints, and areas that demand close-quarters combat.

The update also features a new progression system, elite challenges, 3D callout pings, seasonal leaderboards, and weapon-specific assignments that unlock rewards like weapon stripes and new, exclusive weapons skins. Victory poses, bomb skins, new weapon stickers and other customisation options are also on offer.

A new Underground Cosmetic Pack is available now, too, bundling the legendary "Consigliere' and 'Free Rider' skins for Reapers and Wardens respectively, as well as the epic 'Burst; skin for the AUG A3 Hbar, the epic 'Gambler' skin for the PKP Pecheneg, and the Anod knife.

Warface: Breakout's 'Underground' update is available now on Xbox One and PlayStation 4, while new seasonal events and other features are in the pipeline, including a Halloween event and crossplay rolling out later in the year.
