Modus Games has announced that robot smash 'em up sequel Override 2: Super Mech League will be making its way to current and next-gen consoles and PC this December, mere days before Christmas Day. An Ultraman Deluxe Edition will also be available, offering bonus characters from the Netflix anime.

As well as a confirmation of the game's release date, there's also a new Override 2 gameplay trailer with commentary from the developers to check out below, showcasing the game's "new and improved" combat system, and other new features. The sequel promises accessible gameplay, speedy attacks, fluid movement, and "devastating combos".

With more competitive arena brawling featuring giant robots, Override 2: Super Mech League will be coming to Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC on 22nd December. The standard edition will cost $29.99/£24.99, while the Ultraman Deluxe Edition bundles the Season Pass, Ultraman, three additional characters from the Netflix series, and bonus cosmetics for $39.99/£34.99.
