Having revealed Xbox Series X during last year's The Game Awards, it sounds like Microsoft could be planning another major announcement for this year's event, due to take place later this week. It makes sense for Xbox to wheel out something big for the TGAs, but what exactly it could be is currently anyone's guess.
Games journo Jeff Grubb claimed that Xbox will have something to announce during a GamesBeat video stream (via VGC) on Friday, although details on what it could be remain under wraps. Sticking our speculation hats on, we'd say it could potentially be a big reveal for whatever Xbox Game Studio, The Initiative has been working on.
The Game Awards is due to take place on Thursday 10th December from 11:30pm GMT / 3:30pm PT / 6:30pm ET, with new trailers, game demos, and announcements aplenty planned, including a closer look at EA and BioWare's Dragon Age 4.
Tune into #TheGameAwards this year to see great games get honored 🏆
I too will be playing Cyberpunk 2077. Still excited. I'll still check out the news. I'd really love Crimson Skies High Road to Revenge remaster with updated multiplayer.

Rumoured to be working on a new game within the Perfect Dark universe, The Initiative has been snapping up dev talent from all over the industry, while Xbox has previously stated that it will be in attendance at The Game Awards. One game we now it won't be is Halo Infinite, as 343 Industries is promising a “high level update” at a later date.
