Daedalic Entertainment has announced that The Dark Eye: Chains of Satinav and The Dark Eye: Memoria will be bringing classic point-and-click adventuring to consoles later this month, based upon The Dark Eye pen-and-paper fantasy RPG set within the world of Aventuria.

The Dark Eye: Chains of Satinav will see you playing as bird catcher Geron, tasked with aiding the king in establishing peace by catching suspicious crows plaguing the superstitious and war-torn kingdom of Andergast. However, rounding up the crows isn't as easy as Geron had hoped, leading him on “the greatest adventure of his life”.

In The Dark Eye: Memoria, you assume the role of both Sadja and Geron, pursuing two stories across different time periods. Sadja is a southern princess longing to be a war hero, while Geron the bird catcher from Chains of Satinav, is seeking to lift a curse from his girlfriend. Eventually, Sadja and Geron's stories intersect.

Both The Dark Eye: Chains of Satinav and The Dark Eye: Memoria will be coming to Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC on 27th January, priced $19.99/£17.99 /€19.99 each. You can check out both games in the trailers below.
