Broken Sword developer Revolution Software has announced that its Beneath a Steel Sky sequel, Beyond a Steel Sky, will be making its console debut later this year, following the signing of a deal with French publisher Microids.
Previously released on Apple Arcade and Steam, Beyond a Steel Sky casts you as Robert Foster, seeking an abducted child in the dystopian cyberpunk world of Union City. A place filled with sinister secrets, the events that take place in Union City unfold a decade after 1994's Beneath a Steel Sky, with eerie AI-driven androids, intriguing puzzles to solve, and a story of loyalty and redemption to discover.
Beyond a Steel Sky will be coming to Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and Nintendo Switch as both a digital and physical retail release in Q3 2021, from Broken Sword creator Charles Cecil and legendary comic book artist Dave Gibbons (Watchmen).
