Immortals Fenyx Rising: Myths of the Eastern Realm DLC is Out Today

Matt Lorrigan

Immortals Fenyx Rising's second DLC, Myths of the Eastern Realm, is out today on Xbox One.

Unlike A New God, which picked up Fenyx's adventure from the game's conclusion, Myths of the Eastern Realm takes place in an all-new world based on Chinese mythology, and follows a new hero in Ku, the last remaining human following a catastrophic event.

Developed by the team at Ubisoft Chengdu, the DLC is set against the backdrop of the classic Chinese myth known as Nuwa Mends the Heavens, and “weaves together elements from the earliest period of Chinese mythology.” Unlike Fenyx, Ku is a formidable warrior from the beginning, but has a similar moveset with a sword, axe and bow. Ku must explore the legendary land of Peng Lai, with environmental puzzles to solve, monsters to fight and dungeons to complete.

Immortals Fenyx Rising is available now on Xbox Serie X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, Google Stadia and PC.

  • I played the demo for this not long before it came out and it seemed like a fun game. A bit of assassins creed odyssey meets lego style puzzle games if that makes sense. I just can't work out whether it's worth the price to download. Every time I see it on sale it's still really expensive. Now this DLC sounds great aswell so even more expensive.
