Yesterday CD Projekt RED dropped Cyberpunk 2077’s much anticipated Patch 1.2, the fabled update that was set to right all the wrongs of the shambolic launch – well, that’s the way it was billed, anyway.
As well as fixing a ton of mission bugs across the board, Cyberpunk 2077’s 1.2 patch is the Hail Mary to save the last-generation versions on the Xbox One, Xbox One S and PS4, which if you’ve been following the saga, ran like absolute ass. And that’s an understatement.
At the top of the list of issues that patch 1.2 fixes in Cyberpunk was the game’s god-awful frame rate, and as we always do, we thought we’d put the game through the paces and hook it up to our software to see whether the new update is really the saving grace that fans and CD Projekt itself needs it to be.
The main question is: does 1.2 actually make Cyberpunk 2077 playable on last-gen, base consoles? Does Cyberpunk 2077’s 1.2 patch fix the frame rate issues? Well, watch the video below to find out.
