Immortals Fenyx Rising's third major narrative DLC, The Lost Gods, arrives on Xbox consoles next week, and it sounds quite a bit different to the main game.
Following a new mortal champion named Ash, The Lost Gods unfolds entirely from an overhead view point, as Ash sets out to Pyrite Island in order to locate the Greek gods who left Olympos following a falling-out with Zeus. These include his brothers, Hades and Poseidon, and you'll need to convince them to return to the Pantheon in order to restore balance to the world.
A new perspective requires new gameplay, it seems, with Ash bringing a new, brawler-inspired combat system to the table in order to take on new monsters that stand in the way. It's great to see Immortals Fenyx Rising experimenting with its DLC, and Ubisoft has promised to show off more of The Lost Gods closer to launch.
The Lost Gods will arrive in Immortals Fenyx Rising on 22nd April 2021.
