Netflix and Capcom have revealed that upcoming animated series, Resident Evil: Infinite Darkness, will being streaming on Thursday 8th July 2021.

The release ties in with Resident Evil's 25th Anniversary this year, and follows the heroes of Resident Evil 2, Claire Redfield and Leon Kennedy, as they take on a zombie horde in the White House. We've even got a lovely new trailer showing off more of the characters, stories, and monsters, which you can watch down below.

This isn't the only piece of Resident Evil media coming out this year, either, with a new Resident Evil movie due to hit cinemas in September, serving as a reboot to the previous collection of Resident Evil movies, and featuring iconic characters such as Jill Valentine, Chris Redfield, Leon Kennedy, Claire Redfield and Albert Wesker.

Resident Evil: Infinite Darkness hits Netflix on 8th July 2021.
