Developer inXile Entertainment has released a new trailer for its upcoming The Battle of Steeltown expansion for Wasteland 3, showing the sort of welcome you and your fellow Rangers can expect once you rock up in the eponymous region. Suffice it to say, it's not a very warm or accommodating one.

A heavily-guarded, vertiginous factory complex, Steeltown “keeps Colorado's engines running” in fabricating armour, weapons, trucks, and robots, but you and your squad have been brought here for a reason. In the game's first narrative-driven expansion, you'll investigate why deliveries have been going missing, which won't exactly be a walk in the park.

Workers on strike, bandit raids and other obstacles will make your investigation a fraught affair, whether you go in alone or with co-op allies in tow. You'll be able to tackle new quests and mechanical enemies in the new DLC, while getting to grips with new combat mechanics that encompass stacking status effects, elemental shields, non-lethal weaponry, and more besides.

Wasteland 3: The Battle of Steeltown will be available on 3rd June for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.
