It appears that SEGA is planning a follow-up to Two Point Hospital, which came to consoles last year. Titled ‘Two Point Campus’, the upcoming sequel has yet to be officially announced by SEGA, but leaked over the weekend via a since-removed Microsoft Store listing, spotted by VGC.
As the sequel's name suggests, Two Point Campus will offer the chance to build “the university of your dreams”, rather than having to deal with Two Point Hospital's litany of exotic diseases. “Get to know your students, explore their personalities and fulfill their wants and needs. Craft buildings, choose courses, hire the best staff and build an academic institution to stand the test of time," the store listing states.
Two Point Campus will also enable you to customise the outdoor environment of your university, placing trees, pathways, decorations and other props around your campus buildings. Meanwhile, attendants of Two Point Campus will engage in a series of “wild and wonderful courses”, including ‘Knight School’ and ‘Gastronomy’, the latter enabling students to whip up “mouth-watering concoctions like giant pizzas and enormous pies.”
Before the academic year commences, you'll have a ‘summer break' in which to “build libararies, hire the best staff (from eccentric professors to madcap researchers), kit your campus out with the best courses and watch the academic potential of your students get unlocked.” You'll then be able to acquaint yourself with students and their different personalities, fulfilling their ”wants and needs", including extra-curricular activities offered by clubs, societies, and gigs.
“Surround them with friends, help them develop relationships, furnish them with pastoral care and ensure they have the right amount of joie de vivre to develop into incredible individuals who will do the legacy of your university proud," the listing continues.
Two Point Campus will no doubt receive an official announcement and reveal soon, but until then, you can check out our review of Two Point Hospital here.
